A stalled weather system over the state and the above-average temperatures may allow for some storms to develop in South Jersey along and south of the Atlantic City Expressway.

That being said, the warmer weather is the only thing on everyone's minds. Monday was a beautiful day. The warmest of the year and the warmest since Oct. 28, 2023, when the mercury in the thermometers reached 84.

TONIGHT: The overnight hours will continue to be mild with lows around 51 under partly cloudy skies.

WEDNESDAY: The forecast begins to turn Wednesday with an increase in clouds and the winds becoming on-shore. This will keep the temperatures in the upper-50s. Late-day or early-evening showers are likely.

THURSDAY: The "crud" continues into Thursday. Even cooler and possibly even wetter, especially in the morning.

COMING UP: We will slowly break this pattern by the end of the week and into the weekend as temperatures stabilize to where they should be this time of year - in the low-60s.
