New Jersey to get $20 million in federal funds to fix roads

Sen. Cory Booker says that funds will help improve safety in the Garden State.

More money will be coming to New Jersey to fix the state’s roadways.

The state Department of Transportation will be getting $20 million in federal funds, including $8 million to fix two miles of the Route 168 Corridor in South Jersey and another $12 million for disaster relief efforts.

These efforts include trying to fix the lasting impacts of Hurricane Ida.

Sen. Cory Booker says that funds will help improve safety in the Garden State.
