Well, the votes are in, and the winner of New Jersey’s happiest town is Ocean City, according to a study by data website HomeSnacks.
The site used cost of living, unemployment rates and commute times to decide what makes a city happy.
HomeSnacks says Ocean City is by far the happiest place in the state of New Jersey. The site says having a solid family life is a good indication of how happy someone is, and more than 17% of Ocean City residents are married. And the average commute time is only about 29 minutes each way, which means a lot more time with the spouse and kids, according to the website.

According to the study, the happiest cities in New Jersey are Ocean City, Morristown, Florham Park, Moorestown-Lenola, Margate City, Manasquan, Caldwell, Point Pleasant, Boonton and Red Bank.
The most miserable cities in New Jersey, according to HomeSnacks, are Fort Dix, Dayton and Camden.
