Volunteers with Jersey City Medical Center have been out buying and wrapping toys and making Jersey City look like the North Pole.
Residents have been making monetary donations and also dropping toys off at City Hall – all to make sure 2,000 children have the holiday they deserve.
The giveaway happens on Friday at City Hall.
Tuesday is the last day they accept donations. Those who wish to donate can do so at City Hall from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
