Video shows the rescue of a man from floodwaters in Fairfield on Friday.

A red Jeep can be seen halfway underwater.

The rescue was made in an office park off Passaic Avenue near the Essex County Airport.

A man is carried out of the driver's side of the car and taken to safety by Fairfield Police Cpl. Steven D'argenio.

D'argenio carried the man on his back through floodwater up to his knees.
