Members of the community were able to attend a public meeting on Monday to voice their concerns about the plans for the former site of the Nabisco factory.

The planned implosion of the site was canceled. Many residents say that they are still in the dark about how the plant will come down.

News 12 is told that a warehouse and office space are set to be built on the site once demolition takes place. The project will include 256 parking spaces.

But some members of the public are worried about all the warehouse space as well.

"This warehouse with trucks is not a good thing with fumes. I was not happy. You can hear the trucks now because there’s no building there,” says Alisa Svider, of the Indian Rock Board.

There is no date set for the beginning of the new construction, as it is still pending approval.
