Keansburg resident Krystina Vied is going viral for a video of her singing songs while having brain surgery.
The doctors at Hackensack Meridian Health wanted to keep her conscious and singing so they knew they weren’t making any wrong moves during the procedure.
Vied sang some Neil Diamond and even the theme song to “Disney’s Moana.” She said it was a fun experience.
Vied was able to go home from surgery the next day.
