Storm Watch Team meteorologist Dave Curren says that rain is expected very early Saturday and that heavy rain could impact the Jersey Shore.

WHAT'S NEXT: Milder temperatures are on the way for the weekend, but so is some rain. A low-pressure system will slide up close to the coast and then offshore Saturday. A cold front to the west may bring some rain to New Jersey again late Saturday into the overnight.

SUNDAY: Better, brighter and warmer. 70s stick around through next week followed by another "dry spell.”

MONDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures remain warmer in the mid-70s. Overnight lows near 60.

COMING UP: The upcoming week is looking to see mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the upper-70s and low-80s.
