A powerful nor’easter impacting New Jersey is causing rough ocean conditions at the Jersey Shore.
Most of the snow accumulations are expected to be in the northern section of the state. Areas along the coast were expected to see a mix of snow and rain.
But the Jersey Shore will also have to watch out for very strong wind gusts. The wind and stormy conditions were causing the ocean to violently churn near Pier Village in Long Branch.
A high wind warning was issued for areas along the coast. That strong wind and stormy conditions may also cause coastal flooding.
