Two males, ages 18 and 14, have been charged in the fatal carjacking of a 40-year-old woman in Newark on Thanksgiving night.
Shuri Henry was walking into her home after dinner at her sister's house when she was approached and gunned down at her front step.
The suspects then drove off in Henry's Kia Sorrento.
Police say they have charged 18-year old Supreme Allah Jr. with murder, robbery, carjacking and possession of a handgun.
The 14-year old, whose name is not being released, is facing the same charges.
A third suspect, Antonio Torres, 20, was charged with eluding the police.
The suspects were caught Friday morning when the car was spotted by police on Springfield Avenue. After a brief foot chase, police made the arrests.
A friend of Henry's told News 12 that this Thanksgiving was to be her first without her mother who had recently passed away.
Allah and Torres are being held at Essex County Correctional Facility. The juvenile is being held at Essex County Youth Detention Facility.
