‘Sounded like a truck was driving by’: 2.6 magnitude aftershock hits Gladstone, USGS says

People in Bridgewater told News 12 that the aftershock “sounded like a truck was driving by."

A 2.6 magnitude aftershock hit Gladstone this morning. The USGS reported the epicenter is in Gladstone, the same epicenter as this past Saturday when a 2.9 aftershock hit.
New Jersey has seen more than 150 aftershocks since the initial 4.8 magnitude earthquake at White House Station last month.
People in Bridgewater told News 12 New Jersey that the aftershock “sounded like a truck was driving by."
People in Mendham and Randolph confirmed to News 12 they felt it. One person said the kitchen counter was vibrating, about 5 to 7 seconds in Randolph.
