21-year-old man dead, another critically injured following Dyker Beach Park stabbing attack

Police say a man is dead and another was critically injured during a stabbing attack Saturday afternoon near Dyker Beach Park.

Officers responded to a 911 call at about 1:54 p.m. of two men who were stabbed near 86th Street and 14th Avenue, within the confines of the 68th Precinct.

When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Manuel Estanislao Chox Choc and a 30-year-old man with stab wounds to their bodies.

Chox Choc was rushed to Maimonides hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The 30-year-old remains in critical condition, according to police.

A person of interest was taken into custody.
