The accident occurred around 1 a.m. on Robbinsville-Allentown Road, near the intersection of Main Street. According to police, the vehicle crashed, ejecting both occupants — a man and a woman.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was trapped under the car and later succumbed to her injuries at a hospital.
