Delays are possible going north on the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County this weekend.
Road work between exits 109 and 114 is setting drivers back.
Two of the three northbound local lanes over Middletown-Lincroft Road in Middletown are now closed and will stay that way until 5 a.m. Monday.
Crews are repairing a bridge damaged back in November.
This will also leave Middletown-Lincroft Road closed to local traffic through Monday morning.
"This was thought to be the best option and it's been worked out with the county and with Middletown Township," says Joe Ettore, Monmouth County engineer.
Two steel beams under the bridge were severely damaged.
