Police have arrested two men in connection to a shooting that left a police officer in critical condition and a suspect dead in Atlantic City.
Officials say 19-year-old Martell Chisholm and 28-year-old Demetrius Cross are charged with attempted murder, robbery and weapons offenses.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday after two officers witnessed a robbery happening outside the parking garage at Caesar's Casino.
News 12 is told one officer was shot as he exited his vehicle.
A second officer then shot and hit one of the suspects, 25-year-old Jerome Damon, of Camden, who was later found dead.
