Over 15,000 pounds of canned Progresso soup is being recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.

The recall affects 14-ounce cans labeled Progresso Organic Chicken Noodle Soup with a best by date of May 26, 2022 and June 9, 2022.

The USDA says that the cans were labeled as chicken noodle, but actually contained a meatball and pasta product.

The USDA states that there have been no confirmed reports of anyone having an adverse reaction from consuming the soup.

Anyone who may be concerned about injury or illness should contact their health care provider.

Customers who purchased the cans of soup should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
