The reward for information to find a missing Rutgers University student now stands at $10,000.

Mortimer “Mekhai” Wortman, 22, was last seen Nov. 21 at the Regional Day School on Toms River Road in Jackson Township.

According to the CUE Center for Missing Persons, the reward was made possible by an anonymous donor, along with the Jackson mayor and a councilman.

“We are hopeful that this renewed effort will bring forth someone who can aid in finding Morty,” said Monica Caison, CUE founder.

CUE says that the reward can only be obtained “by providing the direct location or information leading to the direct location” of Wortman.

Anyone with information is urged to call Jackson Township police at 732-928-1111, CUE at 910-232-1687 or submit a tip online by CLICKING HERE.
