One man is dead and another is injured after an overnight shooting in West New York.

The incident happened just after midnight near 61st Street and Park Avenue.

Officials say one man has died from injuries related to the shooting and the other man was taken to a hospital.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office says it does not believe that the man taken to the hospital has life-threatening injuries.

Officials have not yet released the victim's identity.

There is no word if anyone has been arrested for this shooting at this time.
