Yonkers café rewarded for making police call that saved woman’s life

The Chipper Truck Cafe in Yonkers is now being rewarded by Grubhub and others for helping save a woman's life.
As News 12 has reported, workers at the cafe called police after seeing a note on an order asking for help.
When officers traced the address, they found a 24-year-old woman who had been held against her will and had been raped at knife point. A man was arrested in connection to the incident.
Grubhub has now given them $5,000 for their efforts, as well as a $200 gift certificate to Restaurant Depot, where they buy their supplies.
The Chipper Truck Cafe is being recognized by city officials on Friday.
