Wunder Wiener owner Jerry LaCrosse is recovering after his hot dog stand was hit by an SUV last June, and the community of Beachwood is pouring out love and support through fundraising.
The PBA from Beachwood and neighboring Berkely, where the accident occurred, presented LaCrosse with money to help make up for his loss of income.
LaCrosse, who serves as a councilman in Beachwood, says he remembers everything about the moment the SUV slammed into his 14-foot hot dog stand.
LaCrosse says he bears no ill will toward the driver who struck him, and is instead focused on moving forward with his recovery and getting back on the golf course as soon as possible
LaCrosse says he plans to rebuild Wunder Wiener and hopes to be fully operational as soon as next year.
