Police: Worker killed inside New Brunswick car wash following vehicle crash
Police say the driver and two others were also injured.

An employee at Trax Car Wash on Route 18 in New Brunswick has died after being struck by a vehicle that accelerated inside the tunnel.
According to New Brunswick police, the incident occurred Tuesday at approximately 1:15 p.m. In a statement, authorities said according to a preliminary investigation, a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old woman accelerated in the tunnel portion of the car wash. An employee identified as Enrique Barahona, 54, of New Brunswick, was inside the tunnel at the time and was struck by the vehicle. Barahona sustained fatal injuries, police said.
Two other employees, as well as the driver, were also injured. The driver was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police say the vehicle also struck a portion of the car wash tunnel. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
