A new policy guarantees that the NYPD will follow up with customers who call 311 with quality-of-life complaints. Under the new rule, residents who call 311 can get a call from police within 24 hours

Word on the Street: 311 follow-ups
A new policy guarantees that the NYPD will follow up with customers who call 311 with quality-of-life complaints.
Under the new rule, residents who call 311 can get a call from police within 24 hours during the week.
People who continue to call and complain could also expect a personal visit from an officer.
News 12 took to the streets to ask residents what they thought about the move.
