Women take spotlight in second round of GHI Bronx Tennis Classic

The second round of the GHI Bronx Tennis Classic swung into action at Crotona Park with the women looking to move into the quarterfinals. American Raquel Kops-Jones faced off against Britain?s Anne Keothavong.

The second round of the GHI Bronx Tennis Classic swung into action at Crotona Park with the women looking to move into the quarterfinals.
American Raquel Kops-Jones faced off against Britain?s Anne Keothavong. Kops-Jones breezed through the first set with a 6-1 win. She finished the job with a 7-5 win in the second set. Kops-Jones and other winners from the second round matches will advance.
More than 2,000 kids were at Crotona Park to cheer on the women and also to participate in a parade. Children also got free tennis lessons.
