A witness tells News 12 an ice cream truck ran off the Palisades Interstate Parkway Thursday in Fort Lee. 

The driver reportedly had to be pulled out by off duty first responders. 

There is no word on what caused the truck to go down the embankment.

There is also no word on the condition of the driver.
