With Christmas over, don’t expect COVID-19 testing lines to fade away

Over the past few days, the state has reported record setting numbers of new COVID-19 cases as residents lined up to get tested before the holidays – don’t expect those long lines to go away.

Over the past few days, the state has reported record setting numbers of new COVID-19 cases as residents lined up to get tested before the holidays – don’t expect those long lines to go away.
News 12 New Jersey's Naomi Yane was at a testing site in Hoboken on Sunday. Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla announced on Christmas that he tested positive for the virus and is experiencing mild symptoms. He added that he's vaccinated and had his booster shot.
Additional testing is also being offered in Bayonne at a drive-thru site. The state also started a new program where you can have a free COVID-19 test mailed to at-home.
