Temperatures warm into the upper 30s today and hover near the freezing mark tonight.
A batch of light freezing rain/drizzle passes across NJ, most of it being broken and scattered. It can leave a light layer of ice in areas north of I-78 in northern New Jersey.  This is brief as it passes from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.  Tomorrow's weather is fair again with temperatures pushing to the lower 40s under a mostly cloudy sky. The temperature remains in the upper 30s/low 40s for the rest of the week with sun emerging by Friday. The week is fair with a threat for some rain showers Sunday night into Monday as a nearby coastal storm is only expected to bring minor rain impacts to the state. It is possible that this nearby weather system stays far enough south to prevent showers from coming to the state.
