ALERTS: Dense Fog Advisory for much of the state until 10 a.m. Wind Advisory for much of the state from 10 a.m. today through 1p.m. Tuesday.
Scattered showers and areas of dense fog this morning. A mild start, but once the cold front moves in, temperatures will drop this afternoon. Winds will gust to 45 mph. It'll be much colder tonight with all areas dropping below freezing.
Canadian air will settle upon the region the next few days with readings below average. Wind chills during the morning will be in the teens. A few snow showers are possible as we head toward midnight New Year's Eve.
