The map shows the most popular holiday treat in every state. For New York, the top spot for the state's favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids. Hot Tamales came in second and candy corn ranked third.
Candystore.com says it used 14 years’ worth of data to put together the map.
For many states, some kind of chocolate Halloween candy is the top pick, ranging from Reese's to Hershey's Kiss and M&Ms.
Montana is notable because the winner there is bubble gum. Another popular candy in the states is Starburst.
