Thanksgiving starts the big holiday rush, and of course New Jersey roads were no exception.
The wet, slick roads put a damper on many travelers who faced bumper-to-bumper traffic. Some late-leaving drivers said they were just hoping to get to their destination before dinner was over. Savvy travelers packed food in their cars to tide them over before the big feast.
The wet weather is expected to continue on the crowed roads, so drivers are advised to pack their patience and take it slow on the way home.
