Jersey Proud: West Orange celebrates Memorial Day with special tribute

On Monday, West Orange will honor those who served by using Gordon Hansen’s trumpet when playing "Taps."

Memorial Day ceremonies are planned in just about every town in New Jersey.
On Monday, West Orange will honor those who served by using Gordon Hansen’s trumpet when playing "Taps."
Hansen lost his life serving the U.S. in World War II.
He used this trumpet when he was a member of the band at West Orange High School.
The ceremony begins in West Orange on Monday at 10 a.m. at Town Hall.
