An 18-year-old from West Caldwell who jumped on the roof of his twin brother's car to stop him from drunk driving has died.

Police say in June, Anthony Dattoli drove with his twin brother, Joseph Nicholas, on top of the car, crashing into a tree.

His twin lost a leg in that crash. It was announced that he died last week.

Anthony Dattoli was already facing charges for aggravated vehicular assault. There is no word yet if those charges will be upgraded.

Services will be held this week.
