The weekend will see two very different weather days for New Jersey.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says that Saturday will see rainy but warmer weather, while Sunday will see mostly sunny but cooler conditions.
Powers says that Friday night will be mostly pleasant, with temperatures in the upper-40s and low-50s, under partly cloudy skies.
Saturday will see some rain in the morning and afternoon, with daytime highs warming into the upper-60s. Powers says that around 3:30 p.m. the winds will pick up and gusty storms are possible. These storms have the potential to last into the evening hours.
The rain will bring about a cold front, with temperatures dropping into the low-40s overnight. Temperatures will warm Sunday for Easter Sunday, with daytime highs in the mid-50s. Sunday will see mostly sunny skies, with the possibility of a stray rain shower.
More rain is expected for Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures in the mid- to upper-50s. Powers says that these storms are expected to come from the coast.
