New Jersey is expected to see a wet and windy start to the weekend, with warmer temperatures.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the wind and rain should last through Saturday morning and afternoon.
WHAT’S NEXT: Windy and rainy Saturday ahead. Hold off on putting up holiday decorations until after 4 p.m. If decorations are up, tie them down more securely tonight. Winds will frequently gust mid-day to 30-40 mph.
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy skies with the chance for some rain. Overnight lows cool to the upper-30s.
SATURDAY: Rain for the morning and afternoon. Daytime highs in the upper-50s. Rain clear by the evening. Overnight lows around 41.
SUNDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Daytime highs around 45 degrees. Overnight lows cool to the mid-30s.
MONDAY: Plenty of sunshine. Daytime highs in the upper-40s. Overnight lows dip to around 29 degrees.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with the chance for rain. Daytime temperatures in the low-50s. Overnight lows around 37.
