WEATHER TO WATCH: Light snow expected overnight in parts of central New Jersey

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that while the snow will be over by the time most New Jersey residents wake up on Tuesday, morning commuters should give themselves a little extra time to get to work.

Parts of central New Jersey could see a light dusting of snow overnight.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that while the snow will be over by the time most New Jersey residents wake up on Tuesday, morning commuters should give themselves a little extra time to get to work.
WHAT’S NEXT: A winter weather advisory is in effect for parts of Hunterdon and Warren counties until 7 a.m. Tuesday. An inch of two of snow is possible. The worst of the weather is expected between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. between Interstate 78 and Interstate 80.
OVERNIGHT: Snow in parts of the state. Overnight lows in the mid-30s.
TUESDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Daytime highs of around 44 degrees. Overnight lows around 34.
WEDNESDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Possibility of flurries in the morning. Daytime highs around 45. Overnight lows around 27.
THUSDAY: Mostly sunny. Daytime highs in the upper-40s. Overnight lows cool to around 32.
