Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Scott Sincoff says it will be a soggy and foggy morning commute in northern New Jersey. A drier afternoon follows with showers fading throughout the start of our workweek.
A coastal flood advisory will be in effect Monday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
OVERNIGHT: Showers, mainly in north Jersey, and fog across the state. Lows in the 40s north to near 60 in south Jersey. Wind: NE 5-10 MPH.
MONDAY: A soggy commute up north with fog for most of the state. Highs in the 50s north to near 70 along the AC Expressway. Wind: Variable 5-15 MPH.
MONDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy and a cold breeze settling in. Lows on both sides of 40.
TUESDAY: Cold start, mostly sunny and breezy. Highs in the 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Cold start, partly to mostly cloudy with mainly morning showers. Highs in the 50s.
THURSDAY: Cold start, mostly sunny. Highs in the 50s.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy and milder. Highs approaching 60.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs in the 60s.
