Temperatures across New Jersey have reached into the 90s for the seventh day in a row.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says rain showers are possible for parts of New Jersey. Temperatures should cool into the 70s for the overnight hours.
The heat wave is expected to continue into Tuesday with mostly sunny skies. There is a chance that a thunderstorm could develop.
Temperatures are expected to cool slightly for Wednesday with a potential mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures should be around 85 degrees.
Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures in the low 80s.
