New Jersey saw mainly clear and sunny skies Tuesday, but temperatures were much cooler than they have been the last few days.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures for Tuesday started in the 30s for many areas of the state and only warmed up to the mid-50s.
Wednesday is expected to start off mainly clear with clouds increasing in the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures should only get up to the mid-50s.
Curren says that Thursday is expected to be an absolute washout with rain. Rain is expected to begin by about 9 a.m. Thursday and should last throughout the day. Curren says that it is possible New Jersey will see up to 1 inch of rain. Temperatures should reach the mid-60s.
The rain should disperse by Friday. Friday should start off with cloudy skies before clearing out. Temperatures may only reach the mid-50s.
