Wayne police arrest man 11 times in 7 months

Officials say that this man was identified as Jeffrey Plumer – a man who police say they have encountered numerous times in the past.

Police in Wayne Township say that they have arrested a man for the 11th time in seven months.
Police say that a township resident called police on Tuesday to report a suspicious man walking in his backyard and carrying a bag. A resident followed the man and reported his location to the police.
Officials say that this man was identified as Jeffrey Plumer – a man who police say they have encountered numerous times in the past.
Officials say that they were not sure why Plumer was walking around the property, but he was suspected of being under the influence of drugs. Police say he was in possession of meth and heroin. He was arrested and taken into custody.
Authorities say that this is the 11th time that Plumer has been arrested in Wayne in seven months. They say that when he was arrested on Tuesday, he still had a Passaic County Jail inmate wristband from his most recent prior arrest on Jan. 28.
Plumer has previously been charged with possession of prohibited weapons, receiving stolen property, harassment, theft and violating a restraining order.
