Waterford school employee accused of hiding cellphone in faculty restroom
Police say a forensic examination found no content involving students or juveniles. The school district says the employee was fired.

A former Waterford Township school employee is accused of placing a cellphone in a faculty restroom to secretly record people, according to police.
Police say they were notified on Aug. 14 about an incident at Waterford Elementary School involving an employee who allegedly placed the phone inside the restroom to record people without their knowledge or consent.
Police identified 20-year-old Skyler Moore, of Clementon, as a suspect. Moore was charged with two counts of invasion of privacy and one count of tampering with evidence.
A forensic examination of the cellphone found no content involving students or other juveniles, according to police.
The Waterford Township School District said Friday that the alleged conduct involved employees of a third-party program provider and occurred while school was not in session.
The district said it removed Moore from duty after learning of the allegations and barred Moore from district buildings and property and from contacting staff or students. The Waterford Township Board of Education later terminated Moore's employment.
School officials said they contacted law enforcement immediately and cooperated with the investigation. The district declined to comment further, citing the privacy of those affected and the pending criminal case.
