Water pressure restored to normal in Belleville following Tuesday water main break

Water pressure has been restored to normal in Belleville following this week’s massive water main break. At least 99% of those affected have had water restored, according to the mayor's office.

Water pressure has been restored to normal in Belleville following this week’s massive water main break. At least 99% of those affected have had water restored, according to the mayor's office. 
A water advisory remains in effect along the Newark/Belleville border in Branch Brook Park.
Those who still have discoloration in their water should run the faucets for a few minutes until the discoloration disappears. Belleville Water Department is taking water samples throughout the township. 
Water distribution is taking place in Bloomfield until 9 p.m. at the Library/Civic Center parking lot on State Street.
