Gov. Phil Murphy was in the New 12 New Jersey studios Monday afternoon for News 12’s “Ask Gov. Murphy” program.
The governor sat with News 12’s Eric Landskroner to discuss a variety of issues brought up by News 12 viewers. Some of the topics discussed included a future ban on gas-powered vehicles, offshore wind farms, congestion pricing, cost-of-living adjustment and the race for the United States Senate.
The governor's wife, Tammy Murphy, announced she is running for current Sen. Bob Menendez’s seat.
"I'm incredibly proud of her. She will stand on her own two feet, and she will go all over this state. Work her tail off. She's the hardest working person I've ever met, and she will earn every single vote,” Murphy said.
Rep. Andy Kim also announced that he is running for Menendez’s seat.
