New Jersey residents who are already registered to vote can start heading to the polls Saturday morning in what is the first presidential election where early voting is an option.
State officials announced Thursday they are using a multi-pronged approach to help ensure that the 2024 general election is fair, transparent, secure, and runs smoothly.
New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin is once again activating the Voter Protection Initiative in collaboration with the Division on Civil Rights.
This focuses on identifying and addressing voting rights or civil rights violations, including under the New Jersey Civil Rights Act and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, that may arise during early voting and on Election Day.
Poles will open 10 a.m. Saturday. Early voting continues through Nov. 3.
