Thousands of victims of sexual assault in New Jersey are also becoming victims of the system.

On Tuesday, News 12 senior investigative reporter Walt Kane begins a Kane In Your Corner investigation with a story viewers won’t want to miss.

"The people who are supposed to help me just kind of made it feel like everything's my fault,” says Lena Morrison.

Morrison says she was sexually assaulted at Ramapo University. She says prosecutors told her they could not prove she was assaulted even though she has a recording of her alleged attacker confessing.

To this day, Morrison’s rape kit was never tested, which means there is no way to know if her alleged attacker might have assaulted someone else.

“Victims of the System” – a Kane In Your Corner investigation begins Tuesday at 10 p.m.
