The driver in Sunday’s deadly tanker truck accident
in Mahwah has been identified.
The accident happened around 6:45 a.m.
According to police, Maher Daoud-Quneis, of
Paterson, died after his truck crashed and burst into flames along I-287.
Police say the truck flipped over and was consumed
by flames from all the fuel it was carrying.
