Veterans gathered in Middlesex Borough Thursday to mark the 65th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack.
One survivor says he will never forget the day Japanese forces attacked American troops. Nick Alimecco says he was 23 at the time and amidst the bombs and smoke, fear set in. More than 2,000 people died during the attack that sparked the United States? entrance into World War II.
The ceremony was held at the American Legion Post 306.
