Vehicle fire causes delays on Route 9A in Ossining

A vehicle fire caused traffic disruptions in northern Westchester Wednesday morning, but the flames have since been extinguished.
One southbound lane on Route 9A remains closed in Ossining just south of the Route 9 and Route 9A split as crews continue working at the scene.
Traffic is moving in both directions, though delays are still being reported in the area.
No injuries have been reported.
Video from the scene showed flames nearly engulfing the vehicle before firefighters brought the blaze under control.
The Ossining Fire Department remains on scene as cleanup efforts continue and the roadway is cleared.
