A 46-year-old man was critically injured during a shooting that occurred Saturday in Trenton, according to police.
Investigators say he was struck by a single bullet just before 2 a.m. near the 400 block of Hamilton Avenue.
Responding officers found him at Lincoln and North Clinton avenues. As of Sunday morning, he remains hospitalized.
The events leading to the shooting were not immediately clear. Authorities say the Mercer County Shooting Response Team is conducting an investigation.
