The University of Georgia has set up a GoFundMe page for a football player who died in a crash.
Devin Willock and recruiting analyst Chandler LeCroy died in the crash. A police report says that excessive speed was a factor. Willock was not nearing a seatbelt according to that report.
The university also set up a GoFundMe for LeCroy.
The donations will help support Willock and LeCroy’s families.
Willock was from New Milford and played football at Paramus Catholic. He got a scholarship to the University of Georgia.
Willock’s parents Sharlene and Dave Willock were with him for the parade celebrating UGA’s national championship and went out to dinner. This was the last time they say their son.
The family says there will be two memorial services for Willock – one in Georgia and one in New Jersey.
