The league just published results of a survey on its website in which 5,000 parents, players, coaches and umpires were asked a variety of questions on how they could safely return to the diamond.
Questions ranged from should players wear masks, an overwhelming no, to should umpires wear masks, an overwhelming yes.
Brian Delahant, the president of the USABL, says the question of when they should play is what jumped out at him the most.

“I was surprised the most by when people were ready to return to the field,” says Delahant. “There are a lot of people that were ready to return yesterday."
More people chose Memorial Day Weekend than any other choice.
Play ball now finished third with over 900 votes, keeping in mind many votes in the days and weeks past.
The USABL has created a petition and put together a group called the New Jersey Baseball Coalition to present the governor with a proposal to allow baseball to return safely.
