Dozens of United Airlines flight attendants picketed Thursday outside Newark Liberty International Airport's Terminal C as part of a nationwide day of action.
The flight attendants rallied for what they call a "long overdue fair contract."
The rally was among 20 happening around the country, including at LaGuardia.
The protest comes one day after American Airlines flight attendants picketed at LaGuardia.
United issued a statement to News 12 that said, "We’re continuing to work with the Association of Flight Attendants toward an industry-leading agreement. All United flights will operate as planned while our flight attendants exercise their right to distribute information and picket while off-duty."
