Two gas leaks, one near a hospital and another near a middle school, caused road closures and evacuations in New Jersey on Monday.
A construction company working on Banks Avenue in Asbury Park struck a gas main.
Two hundred to 300 people were evacuated from a school, a church and several homes. The leak was contained by noon.
A PSEG curb valve experienced a leak on Lehigh Avenue in Newark near Newark Beth Israel on Monday evening.
